Background
Pocket Rocket is an emerging indie game development studio built by a small and passionate team. The name reflects the idea of a compact but powerful force, something small in scale but mighty in ambition. The studio needed a brand identity that expressed playfulness, energy, and imagination, while also communicating the sharp creative direction behind its work.
Challenges
The visual identity had to balance fun and creativity with a strong sense of craft and credibility. It needed to feel bold and memorable across game covers, social media, digital platforms, and merchandise. With a lean team and resources, the goal was to create a system that looked premium and professional while staying authentic to the indie spirit. The logo also needed to incorporate a rocket in a way that felt meaningful and aligned with gaming culture without becoming literal or childish.
Outcome
The final identity revolves around a stylized rocket symbol with subtle controller cues hidden in its form, capturing both the idea of launch and the joy of play. A supporting visual system uses bold shapes, playful motion cues, and a vibrant color palette to amplify the studio’s youthful and creative personality. The result is a flexible and energetic identity that scales smoothly across digital and physical touchpoints, giving Pocket Rocket a distinctive visual voice that reflects its ambition and creative drive.
